If you haven't heard the big news from yesterday, here it is. Statement by Channing Dungey, president, ABC Entertainment - Issued on May 29, 2018: "Roseanne's Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show." This means ABC has canceled a second season of the Roseanne revival after the horrible tweets (which we will not get into) from Roseanne Barr on Tuesday. The first season had already concluded on May 22. Reruns of The Middle will replace Roseanne reruns this summer, as of yesterday (May 29). No word yet what ABC will do come September when the second season was scheduled to launch. But that's not all -- reruns of the classic Roseanne have also been pulled on all outlets it currently airs on. It's no longer available on Hulu as well. The cable networks of Viacom - TV Land, CMT, and Paramount Network have all pulled the series as of today. And digital broadcast network Laff has also pulled it yesterday, replacing it with more reruns of Night Court. More to come on this, as we await what ABC will do Tuesdays at 8pm this September.
