2016-17 Week 34 TV Ratings (first four nights Mon-Thu):

Households: #1. CBS 4.97/9 rating/share (+2% in rating from first four nights week 33); #2. NBC 3.77/7 (+1%); #3. ABC 3.44/6 (even); #4. Fox 1.88/3 (-3%); #5. The CW 0.88/2 (+2%).
Total Viewers: #1. CBS 7.895 million (+2% from first four nights week 33); #2. NBC 5.896 million (+1%); #3. ABC 5.211 million (even); #4. Fox 2.895 million (-1%); #5. The CW 1.430 million (-7%).
Adults 18-49: #1. CBS 1.28/5 rating/share (+1% in rating from first four nights week 33); #2. NBC  1.19/5 (+4%); #3. ABC 1.15/4 (-1%); #4. Fox 0.97/4 (+2%); #5. The CW 0.51/2 (+11%)

We have previous week's final ratings, Week 33 (5/1/17-5/7/17, LIVE+SD). ABC won the week in A18-49 and did a 1.13 rating.  NBC was #2 with a 1.03 rating.  CBS was #3 with a 1.01 rating, while Fox was #4 with a 0.77 rating. Among total viewers, CBS was #1 with 7.105 million, with NBC #2 at 5.164 million.  ABC was #3 with 4.988 million and Fox at #4 with 2.441 million.

For season to-date (9/19/16-5/11/17, LIVE+SD), NBC is 1 in A18-49 with a 1.70 rating, followed by Fox at #2 with a 1.56 rating thanks to the Super Bowl and also heavily inflated by a high 7-game World Series. Without those 2 events, Fox would be #4. CBS is  #3 with a 1.43 rating and ABC at #4 with a 1.19 rating. Among total viewers it is CBS #1 at 8.064 million, followed by the dropping NBC at #2 with 6.840 million. Super Bowl/World Series boosted Fox still at #3 with 5.044 million as ABC is #4 with 4.990 million. ABC could likely overtake Fox in total viewers in the final 2 weeks.

Back to week 34 (May 1-7), read our full night-by-night analysis followed by how the sitcoms did! GREAT showings are in BOLD. If they are in bold in both total viewers and 18-49, then it is very impressive:

The Conners - "Driving, Dating and Deceit" (ABC, 8:00PM ET/PT)
Mark is anxious to get his driver’s license when a job opportunity presents itself across town. Darlene attempts to teach him to drive, but her frantic energy sends him running to Ben for help. Meanwhile, Harris meets a new guy online, whom Becky recognizes from her past.

The Golbergs - "Jenkintown After Dark" (ABC, 8:30PM ET/PT)
Despite promising to keep distance from Brea so they can each establish themselves at college, Adam calls her, sending Beverly into a tailspin. Meanwhile, Joanne lands a coveted job at a posh Philly law firm and Barry takes full advantage of the perks of her new gig, blinding him from the reality of the situation.

Abbott Elementary - "Story Samurai" (ABC, 9:00PM ET/PT)
A traveling storytelling troupe Jacob used to be in visits Abbott Elementary for a day of education and entertainment. Jacob can’t wait to share this part of his past with his colleagues; but when he realizes they think the performers are corny, Janine does her best to help him embrace his nerdy side. Meanwhile, Melissa struggles with the new normal of her combined second and third grade class.

Home Economics - "Sushi for Twelve, $482 Plus Delivery" (ABC, 9:30PM ET/PT)
With a house full of Hayworths, nothing is off limits for discussion – including Tom and Marina’s lives in, and out, of the bedroom. Connor’s patience as host is running thin so as a thank you, Sarah and Denise strategize a creative way to show their appreciation.
