2016-17 Week 34 TV Ratings (first four nights Mon-Thu):
Total Viewers: #1. CBS 7.895 million (+2% from first four nights week 33); #2. NBC 5.896 million (+1%); #3. ABC 5.211 million (even); #4. Fox 2.895 million (-1%); #5. The CW 1.430 million (-7%).
Adults 18-49: #1. CBS 1.28/5 rating/share (+1% in rating from first four nights week 33); #2. NBC 1.19/5 (+4%); #3. ABC 1.15/4 (-1%); #4. Fox 0.97/4 (+2%); #5. The CW 0.51/2 (+11%)
We have previous week's final ratings, Week 33 (5/1/17-5/7/17, LIVE+SD). ABC won the week in A18-49 and did a 1.13 rating. NBC was #2 with a 1.03 rating. CBS was #3 with a 1.01 rating, while Fox was #4 with a 0.77 rating. Among total viewers, CBS was #1 with 7.105 million, with NBC #2 at 5.164 million. ABC was #3 with 4.988 million and Fox at #4 with 2.441 million.
For season to-date (9/19/16-5/11/17, LIVE+SD), NBC is 1 in A18-49 with a 1.70 rating, followed by Fox at #2 with a 1.56 rating thanks to the Super Bowl and also heavily inflated by a high 7-game World Series. Without those 2 events, Fox would be #4. CBS is #3 with a 1.43 rating and ABC at #4 with a 1.19 rating. Among total viewers it is CBS #1 at 8.064 million, followed by the dropping NBC at #2 with 6.840 million. Super Bowl/World Series boosted Fox still at #3 with 5.044 million as ABC is #4 with 4.990 million. ABC could likely overtake Fox in total viewers in the final 2 weeks.
Back to week 34 (May 1-7), read our full night-by-night analysis followed by how the sitcoms did! GREAT showings are in BOLD. If they are in bold in both total viewers and 18-49, then it is very impressive:
