CBS to Burn Off Angel from Hell in July; Sitcom Stars on Talk Shows (Week of May 30, 2016)

Angel from Hell

Canceled CBS single-camera comedy Angel from Hell will get a chance to air its eight unaired episodes on CBS after all. The sitcom starring Jane Lynch, Maggie Lawson, Kevin Pollak and Kyle Bornheimer, is a comedy about Amy (Jane Lynch), a colorful, brassy woman who insinuates herself into the life of an organized and seemingly perfect young woman, Allison (Maggie Lawson), claiming to be her "guardian angel." CBS will air the 8 remaining episodes back-to-back on Saturdays at 8:00pm & 8:30pm beginning Saturday, July 2 for four weeks. It will run through and including Saturday, July 23. CBS will also burn off canceled drama Rush Hour, which recently got pulled from Thursdays at 10 for reruns of Code Black beginning last night. Rush Hour will return Saturday, July 23 at 9pm then move to Saturdays at 8pm after Angel from Hell completes its episodes beginning July 30 through and including August 20. Rush Hour stars Justin Hires, Jon Foo, Aimee Garcia and Wendie Malick.
