Friends Coming to Netflix in January 2015; Sitcom Stars on Talk Shows (Week of October 20, 2014)

Friends on Netflix

Netflix and Warner Bros. Worldwide Television Distribution announced that all 10 seasons of Friends will be available on Netflix in the US and Canada starting January 1, 2015. This marks the first time the iconic series will be available on a streaming subscription service. Whether you're watching for the first time or have been a fan since the beginning, you can experience the complete series however and whenever you want. Who wouldn't love to spend New Year's Day with Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe and Joey? Friends of course follows siblings Ross (David Schwimmer) and Monica Geller (Courteney Cox), along with their close-knit group of friends, Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry), Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow), Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc) and Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston). The series debuted in 1994 and proceeded to become one of the highest-rated shows on television, and it continues to be a smash hit worldwide. Kudrow and Aniston were both Emmy(R) winners for their work on Friends, and the show won the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series in 2002.
