SitcomsOnline Digest: Parks and Recreation Executive Producer Talks Future of Series; Boondocks Wrapping Up on DVD
- NBC's Parks and Recreation had a bit of a twist when the season finale aired this week, and series executive producer Michael Schur talks about it in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, and also discusses how next season may be the final season. (Entertainment Weekly)
- Amazon Prime and HBO announced a deal that will bring some HBO series exclusively to Amazon Prime. However, the deal doesn't bring everything to Amazon Prime and still excludes some of HBO's biggest series. (NY Times)
- What could Meg Ryan and Bob Saget potentially have in common? Maybe more than one would think, as she has been cast as the "voice of the future" for the How I Met Your Dad pilot. (ABC News)
- If a character on a FX or FXX program happens to be drinking beer, chances are that it'll be a MillersCoor product, as a "groundbreaking" agreement was made to allow the brewer exclusive rights to network program integrations. (Deadline)

HOME MEDIA HIGHLIGHTS
- The Boondocks just returned to Adult Swim after a long hiatus, but there won't be so much of a hiatus for the DVDs. In fact, The Boondocks - The Complete Series is set to be released on June 24. The fourth season alone isn't available to pre-order yet, but likely will be soon.
- The '80s version of The Twilight Zone is about to be re-released on DVD, this time in one set, as it is put together in a complete series set for the first time.
APRIL 29 HOME MEDIA RELEASES
- Dynasty - The Eighth Season (DVD, $69.98): Greed and oil mix once again, along with Krystle and Alexis, in this classic '80s primetime soap opera.
- Hill Street Blues - The Complete Series (DVD, $199.99): Abandoned on DVD nearly a eight years ago, Shout! Factory rescues this classic police drama and releases it in one big set.
