In other news, ABC has scheduled reruns of Happy Endings and Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 on its new night. The two edgy and hip comedies will be moving to Tuesdays at 9:00pm & 9:30pm this Fall, but to have fans get used to the move, ABC will be airing reruns in the hour starting Tuesday, August 14. The series currently airing in the hour, the eight episode summer improv comedy series Trust Us With Your Life, will have its finale on Aug. 7, as planned. Happy Endings and Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 will follow reruns of family comedies The Middle and Last Man Standing at 8, which are filling in on the night starting this Tuesday, July 24. ABC has not announced its fall premiere dates yet, but if we were to guess, Happy Endings and Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 would likely have their premieres on the second week of the season on Tuesday, Oct. 2, as ABC usually airs two-hours of Dancing with the Stars on its first Tuesday in the fall. Stay tuned!
Happy Endings will be entering its third season, while Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 is entering its second season. The latter produced 13 episodes in its first season, but only seven aired with the remaining six being tacked on to the second season order. Called "fresh," "charming" and "it's need-to-pause-the-DVR-because-I'm-laughing-so-hard funny" by the critics (see a hilarious clip below), Happy Endings stars Elisha Cuthbert as Alex, Zachary Knighton as Dave, Eliza Coupe as Jane, Adam Pally as Max, Damon Wayans, Jr. as Brad and Casey Wilson as Penny. Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 stars Krysten Ritter as Chloe, Dreama Walker as June, Liza Lapira as Robin, Michael Blaiklock as Eli, Eric André as Mark and James Van Der Beek as James Van Der Beek. See James Van Der Beek preparing for Dancing with the Stars below.
