New TV Special: TV's All-Time Funniest Airing on ABC; Two-Hour Season Finales for Grey's and Lost

Collected by Nielsen Media Research, the results will be revealed in the two-hour TV's All-Time Funniest, a Paley Center for Media special, airing Friday, May 9 from 8:00-10:00 p.m., ET/PT on ABC!
Who is America's funniest father? Is it Cliff Huxtable or Homer Simpson? Is the funniest mother Lucy Ricardo or Marion Cunningham? Watch to see if your funniest character is also America's funniest.
Interviews with TV icons such as Rainn Wilson (The Office), Brad Garrett (Everybody Loves Raymond), David Hyde Pierce (Frasier), Marion Ross (Happy Days), Mary Tyler Moore (The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Dick Van Dyke Show), Valerie Harper (The Mary Tyler Moore Show) and Rue McClanahan (The Golden Girls) will be highlighted. These comedic stars will offer revealing insight into their funniest sitcom moments, accompanied by hilarious clips.

Meanwhile, ABC announced special two-hour season finales of Grey's Anatomy” and Lost. The Grey's Anatomy season finale airs Thursday, May 22 from 9:00-11:00 p.m., ET/PT, and the Lost season finale airs a week later, Thursday, May 29 from 9:00-11:00 p.m., ET/PT on ABC. This marks an additional hour for each show this strike shortened season, for a total of 17 hours for Grey's Anatomy and 14 hours for Lost. (*Note: So Lost will be preempted on May 22 due to the Grey's Anatomy season finale.)
Remember Grey's Anatomy” returns with original episodes on Thursday, April 24 at 9:00 p.m., ET/PT, and Lost returns with originals that night as well, when it moves to its new 10:00 p.m. ET/PT time slot.
ABC also announced Lost encores will air on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 from 8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT opposite the American Idol finale, preempting Wife Swap and Supernanny. These episodes will be encore presentations of both the Thursday, May 1 and May 8 episodes combined. The May 15 Lost encore will air at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on Thursday, May 29 leading into the two-hour season finale from 9-11 p.m. ET/PT.
