Fox Pulls Anchorwoman for 'Til Death Repeats; WWOR Update; Baywatch Mon-Fri This Fall

Anchorwoman aired last night for the first...and final time on Fox. The reality show -- about a former model and World Wrestling Entertainment performer who becomes a news anchor -- debuted Wednesday night to a minuscule 1.0 rating in the adult 18-49 demo and just 2.66 million viewers (2.0/3 HH rating).
The network will air repeats of sitcom 'Til Death in its place for at least the next three weeks, but you can catch unaired episodes of Anchorwoman at FOX.com and via the Fox On Demand service.

We have a weekend update for the weekend of Sept. 29/30 for WWOR in NY. That weekend Farscape will be off of syndication in every market. On WWOR, it will be replaced by The Dead Zone, which premieres in syndication that weekend. WWOR will air it Sundays at 7PM starting Sept. 30, leading into the new two-hour Law & Order: SVU block from 8-10pm on Sunday nights.

And we went to clarify something. We mentioned earlier this week that Baywatch is coming back to syndication this fall on weekends. Actually it will be weekdays! Yes, Mon-Fri of your favorite beach babes (Pamela Anderson, Nicole Eggert, Yasmine Bleeth, Carmen Electra, and just about anyone else!) starting this fall. I don't think it was cleared for NYC, but it has been cleared in LA for KDOC-TV. We will let you know more when we know.
