TV Land Note, TVLand.com's 'That Girl' Launches Today; 30 Rock Gets Full-Season; Win a 'Roseanne' S6 DVD From Us!
But not to fear That Girl fans, as we have mentioned before, the show is coming to TVLand.com uncut starting TODAY. Head on over to TVLand.com/video to watch uncut episodes of the hit series. It is a month-long celebration showcasing the ground-breaking series That Girl and the Emmy Award-winning special Free To Be ... You And Me. The celebration -- in conjunction with the Season 2 release of That Girl on DVD -- includes the following: full-length episode streams of That Girl on TVLand.com; the uncut version of the pop culture classic Free To Be ... You and Me online until January 31; a 48-hour weekend marathon of the series and special the weekend of December 9 on TV Land and a sweepstakes in which fans can enter to win one of 50 DVD sets of That Girl's seasons one and two. We have full details HERE.
NBC has picked-up a full season of critically acclaimed sitcom (but ratings challenged) 30 Rock. Meanwhile, CBS has pulled new drama 3 LBS off the line-up after just three airings. It is unclear if the show will return, but unlikely that it will. It'll probably end up on innertube, like Smith.
And now Todd has details on our Roseanne S6 DVD contest:
We have 5 Roseanne - The Complete Sixth Season DVD sets for giveaway, thanks to the fine folks at Anchor Bay Entertainment.
Welcome to one of the best-loved – and most daring – seasons in ROSEANNE history. It was the year in which Roseanne finds a surprising stash, Dan (John Goodman) re-connects with an old flame, Jackie (Laurie Metcalf) becomes pregnant, Darlene (Sarah Gilbert) leaves for college, Becky (Sarah Chalke) returns home, and DJ (Michael Fishman) sneaks off to church. There’s the series’ shocking lesbian kiss, a Halloween to remember, a Thanksgiving the Conners wish they could forget, the fan favorite "White Trash Christmas," and much more in these 25 classic and uncut episodes nominated for 5 Emmy® Awards. In Stores on Dec 5th, 2006.
