i Network Adds 'Kotter', 'Amen' in October; Nick@Nite Adds 'Designing Women' at Midnight in October
Other Saturday marathons are: The Monkees on October 7 and The Partridge Family on October 21, both of which air regularly on Fridays at 6 and 6:30 p.m. (starting September 15, as we mentioned). We will have episode info soon. One little note, though, on Friday, October 6 i network will air a movie from 6 t 8 p.m., pre-empting regular programming. This will be a one time thing only. The Saturday marathon on October 28 will be a launch marathon. The strange part it is not a Sony or Warner Bros. show. It is a Universal owned show. Which makes me wonder, was this show just bought by itself or does i Network plan to announce another studio deal? We will let you know, as soon as we do. Anyway, that show is the '80s sitcom Amen, starring Sherman Hemsley and Clifton Davis. It will get the Saturday marathon on Oct. 28 and then it will join the line-up on Monday, October 30 airing Mon-Thurs at 7 and 7:30 p.m., replacing Green Acres, which will move to Mon-Thurs at 6 and 6:30 p.m., replacing Bonanza, which as of now, will be off the schedule starting Oct. 30. As we saw with the Growing Pains situation, this is all very subject to change. So, keep on coming back. Will i Network add more time periods by November? We'll find out soon!
