Buena Vista Television is taking Hilary Duff and Shia LaBeouf into broadcast syndication this fall (2006).
The Disney syndication company has positioned Disney Channel stalwarts Lizzie McGuire and Even Stevens as meeting the FCC’s requirements for stations to program three hours of educational fare per week. The programs are being sold on an all-barter basis.
Don't forget the Golden Globes tonight on NBC. My picks on who should win are: Best TV Comedy: Desperate Housewives; Best TV Drama: Lost (Grey's Anatomy could sneak in and win); Best TV Actor Comedy: Jason Lee (My Name is Earl); Best TV Actress Comedy: Marcia Cross (Desperate Housewives, any of them can win, Longoria has had the most funniest lines this season); Best TV Actor Drama: Matthew Fox (Lost); Best TV Actress Drama: Geena Davis (Commander in Chief); Best TV Supporing Actor Drama/Comedy: Donald Sutherland (Commander in Chief); Best TV Supporting Actress Drama/Comedy: Sandra Oh (Grey's Anatomy). It looks like ABC is becoming what HBO was a few years ago.
