Tiffany Haddish Says 'They Ready' for Netflix; CBS Summer 2019 Drama Schedule

Tiffany Haddish will introduce six of her favorite comedians to Netflix members around the world in Tiffany Haddish Presents: They Ready, a bold new collection of hilarious half-hour stand-up specials. All six comedians were personally chosen by Haddish. She shares a history with each after working together on the stand up scene or in television. In an industry that too often excludes women, people of color, and LGBTQ performers, this diverse group of comedians, both in style and background, are ready for their time in the spotlight. Comedians include Chaunté Wayans (Wild n' Out, 50 Shades of Black), April Macie (Last Comic Standing, Dave Attell's Comedy Underground; Snoop Dogg's: Bad Girls of Comedy, Jenny McCarthy's Dirty Sexy Funny), Tracey Ashley (Last Comic Standing; The Last O.G.), Aida Rodriguez (Last Comic Standing, The Comedian, Comedy Central's This Week at the Comedy Cellar, The Young Turks), Flame Monroe (Def Comedy Jam), and Marlo Williams (BET's Comicview).
CBS announced premiere dates for drama series airing this summer, including the new action-adventure series Blood & Treasure; the seventh and final season of the modern day Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson drama, Elementary; and the second season of Instinct, starring Alan Cumming and Bojana Novakovic. The new action-adventure series Blood & Treasure premieres with a special two-hour episode Tuesday, May 21 from 9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT, following the season finale of NCIS from 8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT. The NCIS: New Orleans season finale moves up one week to Tuesday, May 14 at 10:00 PM, ET/PT. Blood & Treasure airs in its regular time period beginning Tuesday, May 28 at 10:00 PM, ET/PT. The serialized drama stars Matt Barr and Sofia Pernas as a brilliant antiquities expert and a cunning art thief, respectively, who team up to catch a ruthless terrorist who funds his attacks through stolen treasure.
Elementary begins its farewell season Thursday, May 23 at 10:00 PM, ET/PT. In season seven, Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) and Watson's (Lucy Liu) new careers as consultants for Scotland Yard are disrupted by news that a member of their inner circle has been gravely wounded in the United States. Instinct returns for its second season Sunday, June 16 at 9:00 PM, ET/PT. In season two, NYPD consultant Dylan Reinhart (Alan Cumming) is reinstated after being put on leave, just in time to join his partner, NYPD detective Lizzie Needham (Bojana Novakovic), on their new case, the "Sleeping Beauty Killer." Additional summer premiere dates will be announced shortly.
