SitcomsOnline Digest: Community Season 6 Plans; The Equalizer Complete Series on DVD

Welcome to SitcomsOnline Digest! This week, we've got news about Community, an update (somewhat) on the contracts of The Big Bang Theory cast members, and news of the complete series of The Equalizer arriving on DVD. Let's get going!

HIGHLIGHTS FROM SITCOMSONLINE.COM AND AROUND THE WEB
  • If you were hoping to binge watch the new season of Community when it debuts in Yahoo! Screen, you're out of luck, as there are no plans to dump the entire season at once. (Rolling Stone)
  • The Big Bang Theory cast still hasn't signed new contracts, though we're sure it is only a matter of time. (Deadline)
  • Even if you're tired of that "Let it Go" song from the Disney movie Frozen,  then you might find it slightly more tolerable when you hear Larry, Balki, ALF, J.R. Ewing, and others singing it. (Slate)
  • TVGN used to be known as the network that gave you a scrolling listing of all of the shows on TV. Now, they're actually showing those shows instead, with their latest acquisitions including The Love Boat, Wings, and Family Ties. (SitcomsOnline)
  • Here's Lucy is returning to TV on a regular basis on Cozi TV, after being missing from TV for the most part for almost fifteen years. (SitcomsOnline)

Who to Follow: Alison Brie (Twitter), "Always late...but worth the wait."
Claim to Fame: Alison Brie's first TV role came when she was 24, in a small role on the series Hannah Montana. It was only a year later, in 2007, that she was in a recurring role on Mad Men, a role that she played as recently as this year. She is best known to sitcom fans, though, from her role as Annie on the NBC (and soon-to-be Yahoo! Screen) series Community.
