MTV2 Adds Family Matters; CBS Sitcoms Free Frozen Yogurt Promotion at Yogurtland

Family Matters

Viacom-owned MTV2 has quietly added Family Matters to its line-up as of last week. The sitcom is still airing on BET, which is also owned by Viacom. Family Matters is airing most weeknights from 2-4am in the late night, while BET is airing the series in the mornings/early afternoons. The hit '90s sitcom will join other '90s favorites such as Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Saved by the Bell, Boy Meets World, Martin, The Wayans Bros., In Living Color and Smart Guy. Most of these air regularly on weekdays, such as Sabrina weekdays from 9am-12pm and Saved by the Bell from 12-2pm. Martin airs in the late night from 12-2am, while In Living Color, The Wayans Bros. and Smart Guy are on weekends mainly. The network also airs The PJ's from time to time, while Living Single has been removed.

The series of course is about The Winslows, a middle-class suburban Chicago black family may seem like a normal family but with the additions of a sister, her son, Carl's mother and one nerdy neighbor there is never a dull moment in this household. Here's the "scoop." CBS is teaming up with Yogurtland on a sweet three-tier fall promotion for the network's eight comedy series that will kick off tomorrow. From Friday, Sept. 13 through Monday, Sept. 30, select Yogurtland locations in several major cities will offer CBS comedy series-inspired frozen yogurt flavors and store-wide branding, marking Yogurtland's first in-store takeover by a television network. On Premiere Monday (Sept. 23) the same participating Yogurtland shops will provide free frozen yogurt from Noon to 6:00 PM. All Yogurtland shops throughout the country will accept CBS comedy-branded coupons for a free first five ounces of frozen yogurt on Monday, Sept. 23. Coupons can be accessed/printed via CBS' comedy series' Facebook pages and Yogurtland's official Facebook page. This fall will be more appetizing than ever for CBS comedy fans. With CBS's largest number of comedies since its 1997-1998 schedule, its Comedy's Best Season. The returning hits The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, 2 Broke Girls, and Two and a Half Men will be joined by the highly anticipated new comedies The Crazy Ones, The Millers, Mom, and We Are Men.

The flavors include: We Are Man-go for We Are Men; Chocolate Miller Shake for The Millers; Mom's Hot Cocoa Meltdown for Mom; Cookies & Crazy Ones for The Crazy Ones; Penny's Cheesecake, Howard's Strawberry Space Adventure, Sheldon's Bazinga Blueberry for The Big Bang Theory; Plain with Robin Sparkles, How I Met Your Mocha, Barney’s Legend-Berry Tart for How I Met Your Mother; Two and a Half Pistachios for Two and a Half Men; and 2 Broke Graham Crackers, Max and Caroline's Cupcake Batte for 2 Broke Girls. Frankie is stoked when Axl invites her and Mike to meet and have dinner with girlfriend Lexie’s rich parents, Tammy (Lisa Rinna) and Bennett. But Frankie is worried that their less then luxurious lifestyle may put a damper on their meeting. Meanwhile, Brick is excited to be a part of the Sophomore Slammer fundraiser, in which fellow classmates fake arrest each other and friends come to pay money – which will go to charity – to bail them out. But Brick soon discovers that no matter how hard he tries, he just can’t get arrested.

Fresh Off the Boat - "Kids" (ABC, 8:30PM ET/PT)
With the realization that Eddie is finally mature enough to be left on his own, Louis and Jessica see the light at the end of their parenting tunnel and make plans to spend more time with friends Honey and Marvin. Until their neighbors announce a plan of their own: Marvin is getting his vasectomy reversed so the couple can conceive a baby. The Huangs do their best to dissuade them.

black-ish - "Elder. Scam." (ABC, 9:00PM ET/PT)
Ruby gets scammed and Dre begins to suspect that she isn’t as sharp as she used to be, particularly because she was the one who used to scam other people. Zoey’s friend Aaron visits and Diane develops an instant crush on him.

The Mayor - "Buyer's Remorse" (ABC, 9:30PM ET/PT)
As Courtney settles into his new role as mayor, he’s faced with a dismal approval rating as the citizens of Fort Grey express their lack of confidence in his ability to lead, as well as those on his own staff. He realizes that he needs to take an unconventional approach when dealing with Councilman Ed Gunt (David Spade) and comes up with a plan to quickly turn public opinion in his favor.

The Mick - "The Haunted House" (Fox, 9:00PM ET/PT)
Mickey and Jimmy organize a special Halloween party at their mansion, but the party soon goes awry; Sabrina hopes to further her legacy with the party; Mickey becomes determined to give a group of practical jokers a lesson.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine - "Halloveen" (Fox, 9:30PM ET/PT)
When the fifth annual Nine-Nine Halloween Heist begins, everybody scrambles to make a plan to come out on top of the competition, which tests various friendships and relationships as they struggle to earn the title of "Amazing Human Slash Genius."
