TV Land Developing Scripted Original Series; TV Land Change for this Wednesday; More On Nick@Nite January

Today is all TV Land and Nick@Nite! We have a lot to share with you on both! Variety is reporting that TV Land will be developing some more original series. They will develop an all-new sitcom even! The sitcom is titled Us and Them. An updated animated version of Mr. Magoo is also in the works. There are six other series/specials also in the works. Now, it doesn't mean they will also make it on the schedule. TV Land has booked more episodes of Living in TV Land for air though. The series aired as one-time special a few years ago and featured Dick Van Patten. Now more episodes have been ordered and we can expect stars like William Shatner, Barry Williams, Adam West and Sherman Hemsley . The first episode will air right after The 4th Annual TV Land Awards Show on Wednesday, March 22. The article also mentions Nick@Nite and that Hi-Jinks has done well for them and The Search for the Funniest Mom in America will return this spring. For the full article click here.

TV Land has made a tweak for their schedule this Wednesday. They will showcase Andy Griffith and Good Times in between a new episode of Sitdown Comedy this week. My guess is to lure ratings, as I guess the first episode didn't do too well. Andy will air 9-10p and 12-1a. Good Times will air 11p-12a and 2-3a. Sitdown Comedy episode two will air in between that at 10-11p and the encore at 1-2a.

Nick@Nite has added another Roseanne marathon. This time in January. Catch a full week of nothing but Roseanne from Monday, January 23 through Sunday, January 29 at 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. ET/PT those nights. The December week-long Roseanne marathon is this week! I hope you are all excited! And finally, Nick@Nite will rebroadcast all six episodes from season one of Hi-Jinks every Tuesday for six weeks at 9:30 p.m. starting January 17. After that, season two will air. View the full Nick@Nite January details here.
