TV One Sitcom Holiday Week; Kate & Allie Heads on to DVD

TV One will be getting into the Christmas spirit with a week-long event featuring Christmas episodes of sitcoms Amen, 227, Good Times, Martin and In the House. They will air every Christmas episode for those series from Monday, December 19 through Friday, December 23. They will repeat them several times if you miss them. And if you still miss them, then catch an all-day Christmas Eve marathon. Will Reginald VelJohnson spoil Christmas for the Jenkins family on 227? As we all know Universal is releasing two classic '80s sitcoms on Feb. 14--Charles in Charge and Gimme a Break! And on the Gimme a Break! set we will be getting a season one episode of Kate & Allie. Fans have asked and wondered if this means that Kate & Allie Season 1 is on its way or not? We have found out and the answer is YES! We can expect the first season of Kate & Allie by "late spring 2006." The classic '80s CBS sitcom starred Susan Saint James and the hilarious Jane Curtin.
