Netflix Adds to Cast for Running Point Season 2; Stiller & Meara Apple TV+ Documentary

Netflix announced new cast additions who will be joining Season 2 of the hit comedy series, Running Point. New Recurring Guest Stars include: Robert Townsend (The Bear, Before), Ken Marino (The Residence, The Other Two), Tommy Dewey (Casual, Saturday Night), Richa Moorjani (Never Have I Ever, Fargo), Jake Picking (Top Gun: Maverick, Hollywood), Blake Anderson (Workaholics, Game Over, Man!), Duby Maduegbunam (Caught Up, Sistas), Aliyah Turner (Power Book III: Raising Kanan). In addition, season 1 recurring cast members Justin Theroux and Uche Agada will return and have been upped to series regulars.

Returning cast members from season 1 will include: Series Regulars Kate Hudson, Drew Tarver, Scott MacArthur, Brenda Song, Fabrizio Guido, Chet Hanks, Toby Sandeman, Uche Agada and Justin Theroux. Recurring Guest Stars Max Greenfield, Jay Ellis, Roberto Sanchez, Jon Glaser, Scott Evans, Rob Huebel, Marissa Reyes, Justin Hurtt-Dunkley.

It was previously announced that the Kate Hudson-led series recently started production in Los Angeles. When a scandal forces her brother to resign, Isla Gordon (Kate Hudson) is appointed president of the Los Angeles Waves, one of the most storied professional basketball franchises, and her family business. Ambitious and often overlooked, Isla will have to prove to her skeptical brothers, the board, and the larger sports community that she was the right choice for the job. From the hitmaking team of Mindy Kaling, Ike Barinholtz, and David Stassen, Running Point puts a bold twist on the underdog comedy.

Stiller & Meara: Nothing is Lost

Comedy is hard. Marriage is harder. Jerry and Anne somehow juggled both. Stiller & Meara: Nothing is Lost is in select theaters October 17 and streaming October 24 on Apple TV+.

Ben Stiller tells the story of his parents, comedy icons Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara, exploring their impact both on popular culture and at home, where the lines between creativity, family, life and art often blurred. In the process, Stiller turns the camera on himself and his family to examine Jerry and Anne's enormous influence on their lives, and the generational lessons we all can learn from those we love.
