Watson Premieres January 2025 on CBS; Anthony Jeselnik Gets 3rd Netflix Comedy Special
CBS announced today that Watson, the new medical mystery series starring Morris Chestnut, will premiere after the AFC Championship Game, Sunday, January 26, 2025 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET; 9:00-10:00 PM, CT; 8:00-9:00 PM, MT; 7:00-8:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+. Watson will begin airing in its regular time period beginning Sunday, February 16 (10:00-11:00pm ET/PT).
Watson takes place six months after the death of the titular character's friend and partner Sherlock Holmes at the hands of Moriarty. The show stars Morris Chestnut as Dr. John Watson, who resumes his medical career as the head of a clinic dedicated to treating rare disorders. Watson's old life isn't done with him, though - Moriarty and Watson are set to write their own chapter of a story that has fascinated audiences for more than a century. Watson is a medical show with a strong investigative spine, featuring a modern version of one of history's greatest detectives as he turns his attention from solving crimes to solving medical mysteries. Watson also stars Eve Harlow, Peter Mark Kendall, Ritchie Coster, Inga Schlingmann and Rochelle Aytes.
Anthony Jeselnik celebrates 20 years of delivering witty, boundary-pushing comedy in his new razor-sharp Netflix stand-up special, Bones and All. This will be his third special and will premiere on Tuesday, November 26. Anthony Jeselnik is a stand-up comedian, writer and producer who has found success on both television and the live stage. He is on his Bones And All world tour, which will soon be released on Netflix on November 26th. Additionally, Anthony wrote and performed the stand-up specials Thoughts and Prayers, an hour-long for Netflix and Caligula, an hour-long for Comedy Central, which followed his debut comedy album, Shakespear, for Comedy Central Records.
