SitcomsOnline Digest: SAG-AFTRA Strike Negotiations Come to Halt; L.A. Law Heading to Hulu in November
Welcome to SitcomsOnline Digest! This week, we're not much closer to the end of the SAG-AFTRA strike (though we will get some new stuff from Saturday Night Live tonight), we're hearing about another classic 80s drama coming to Hulu, and more. Let's get going!
HIGHLIGHTS FROM SITCOMSONLINE.COM AND AROUND THE WEB
- The WGA strike is over and it seemed that the SAG-AFTRA strike would be ending soon thereafter, but now it looks like that isn't going to happen as quickly as we would have hoped. (Variety)
- It's not the first time it has been available online (in fact, it is on Amazon Prime Video already), but newly remastered episodes of L.A. Law are heading to Hulu next month. (Variety)
- A daytime talk show with Kim Jeong is in the works. (Deadline)
- Vanna White considered leaving Wheel of Fortune at the same time as Pat Sajak, but ultimately decided against it. (Deadline)

- We may not be able to get a lot of scripted entertainment right now, but NBC will rescue us with a little bit of it, as Saturday Night Live returns for a new season tonight with host Pete Davidson.
- A new season of Rick and Morty arrives on Adult Swim on Monday.
- The Daily Show may not have a host, but it does return for new episodes on Monday.
- Catchy Comedy has a binge of The Little Rascals this weekend.
