CBS Fall 2023 Schedule Revised; ABC Makes Minor Changes to Summer

CBS announced its primetime programming lineup for Fall 2023, featuring more than 185 hours of original programming and series new to CBS. Paramount Network's Yellowstone, TV's #1 series, stars Oscar(R), Emmy(R) and Golden Globe(R) winner Kevin Costner as the patriarch of a powerful, complicated family of ranchers. Produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios, Yellowstone will have its broadcast premiere on Sundays after 60 Minutes starting from the beginning of season one. British version of hit comedy Ghosts to make broadcast Network debut, paired with CBS' Ghosts on Thursdays at 9pm following the conclusion of new reality series Buddy Games hosted by Josh Duhamel Game shows and competition series include original episodes of The Price Is Right at Night, Let's Make a Deal Primetime on Friday nights in the 8pm hour and the new reality shows Loteria Loca hosted by Jaime Camil on Mondays at 8pm and Raid the Cage on Fridays at 9pm.
Iconic reality shows Survivor and The Amazing Race return to Wednesdays on the Network, each with extended 90-minute original episodes, at which time Big Brother will move to Tuesdays at 8pm (in addition to Thursdays at 8pm in early Fall). Classic fan-favorite episodes of hit drama series Blue Bloods, Friday's #1 primetime program, air from throughout 13 seasons. FBI True, where agents talking only to other agents reveal decisions that meant life or death, sharing the pressures and the emotional impact on their lives, will make its broadcast Network debut on Tuesdays, paired with reruns of FBI. All three seasons of FBI True are available on Paramount +. Seal Team, the drama returns to CBS with season five on Thursdays at 10pm following the conclusion of The Challenge USA. All six seasons of Seal Team are available on Paramount +.
A new season of the #1 news program, 60 Minutes, returns in the fall. On select Sundays when the NFL on CBS broadcasts doubleheader games, 60 Minutes will present special, extended 90-minute editions. A new season of the true-crime docuseries 48 Hours, Saturday's #1 non-sports primetime series, returns to Saturday nights. Saturday nights will include select primetime college football games from the Big Ten, SEC and Mountain West conferences, plus the NWSL Championship Game. In addition to primetime, the Network's fall programming will also feature over 100 hours of the NFL on CBS for 18 weeks, beginning Sunday, Sept. 10, as well as games on Thanksgiving and Christmas and AFC playoff coverage in January, including AFC Championship game and Super Bowl LVIII to be broadcast on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024. Specific premiere dates and additional programming will be announced at a later date.
ABC is making some slight changes for the rest of the summer. The Bachelorette will move back to its old timeslot of Mondays from 8-10pm (instead of 9-11pm) beginning Monday, July 24. Second season reality series Claim to Fame hosted by Kevin and Frankie Jonas, will move from 8pm to 10pm. In addition, ABC announced The Bachelorette will air a three-hour finale on Monday, August 28 from 8-11pm. Beginning Thursday, July 27, The Prank Panel, moves from Sundays at 8pm to Thursdays at 9pm, following Generation Gap at 8pm. The Chase will have its finale this Thursday at 9pm, so that is how Prank Panel is moving to Thursdays. Reruns of Shark Tank will air Thursdays at 10pm, as The Chase gets a rerun play on Tuesdays at 10pm.
Starting Sunday, July 30, Celebrity Family Feud and $100,000 Pyramid will move up an hour each, at 8pm & 9pm respectively, as The Prank Panel is leaving Sundays at 8pm. Reruns of $100,000 Pyramid will air at 10pm on Sundays, as reruns of AFV will air Wednesdays at 10pm. The finale of The Wonder Years will be back-to-back on Wednesday, Aug. 16 from 9-10pm.
