Columbo 50th Anniversary Marathon on COZI TV; BET+ R-Rated Sitcom Renewed for Season 2

COZI TV is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Columbo's TV series debut with a special marathon airing Saturday, September 18. Starting at 8:00 a.m., COZI TV viewers can tune-in to watch legendary actor Peter Falk as the rumpled, cigar-smoking police detective, Lieutenant Columbo and enjoy the how will he catch'em episodes from seasons eight and nine. Columbo made its television series debut September 15, 1971 on NBC. The series ran for a total of 10 seasons, shifting to ABC for its final three seasons, along with various specials through it’s time on television. Peter Falk won four Emmy Awards for his portrayal of the homicide detective throughout its run. Directors of the series through its 10 seasons included Steven Spielberg, Ben Gazzara, and Jonathan Demme along with many celebrity guest appearances. COZI TV viewers can regularly watch episodes of Columbo every Saturday evening during its regular programing timeslot (check local listings).

OBIE Award-winning, 26-year-old trailblazing creative Jordan E. Cooper's new BET+ sitcom The Ms. Pat Show has been renewed for a second season. Cooper serves as the showrunner, creator and executive producer for the comedy series. The 10-episode first season of The Ms. Pat Show premiered August 12 on BET+ and set records for viewing and audience engagement on the platform. The R-rated sitcom is filmed in front of a live audience and based on Patricia "Ms. Pat" Williams' stand-up comedy and memoir. Created & executive produced by Jordan E. Cooper and Ms. Pat, this grown folks comedy follows a former convicted felon turned suburban mom as she tries her best to navigate family, her comedy career, and a new all-white neighborhood. The series tell the story of a former convicted felon turned suburban mom (Ms. Pat), whose hustle and resilient spirit was forged on the streets of Atlanta. To much reserve, she now finds herself in conservative middle America alongside her well-intentioned husband, played by J. Bernard Calloway (City On A Hill), a struggle of a sister played by Tami Roman (The Family Business), and two distinct sets of kids played by Theodore Barnes (The Prince of Peoria), newcomer Briyana Guadalupe, and Vince Swann (50 Central), raised under very different circumstances.
