- In an unexpected announcement yesterday that surprised even his coworkers, Shepard Smith (who is known as the perhaps the face of the "news" side of things at Fox News, and often serves as anchor for major news events on the Fox broadcast network) abruptly announced that he was leaving the network that he has been with since the day that the network debuted. (Hollywood Reporter)
- Two more seasons of the TBS comedy Search Party are coming soon, but they will air on the HBO Max streaming service. (SitcomsOnline)
HOME MEDIA HIGHLIGHTS
- It's pretty expensive and only 1000 copies are being made (and possibly already sold out, though we aren't certain of that), but if you want a DVD set of the first 20 seasons of The Simpsons, it's coming, with The Simpsons - Twenty Seasons and Many More to Come. This may be worth purchasing if you've missed out on previous DVD releases, as those seem to be out of print now.

- Decades is getting into the Halloween spirit with a binge marathon of Thriller this weekend.
