Week 20 TV Ratings and Analysis; How the Sitcoms Did


2016-17 Week 20 TV Ratings (first four nights Mon-Thu): 

Households: #1. CBS 4.22/7 rating/share (-15% in rating from first four nights week 19); #2. ABC  3.11/5 (-10%); #3. NBC 2.89/5 (-5%); #4. Fox 2.11/4 (-8%); #5. The CW 1.09/2 (+3%).
Total Viewers: #1. CBS 6.712 million (-16% from first four nights week 19); #2. ABC 4.751 million (-12%); #3. NBC 4.560 million (-5%); #4. Fox 3.418 million (-8%); #5. The CW 1.763 million (+3%).
Adults 18-49: #1. ABC 1.33/5 rating/share (-12% in rating from first four nights week 19); #2. CBS 1.17/4 (-9%); #3. NBC 1.05/4 (-9%); #4. Fox 1.00/4 (-9%); #5. The CW 0.61/2 (+5%)

We have previous week's final ratings, Week 19 (1/23/17-1/29/17, LIVE+SD). ABC won the week in A18-49, as there was no NFL at all this week, and did a 1.28 rating.  CBS was  #2 with a 1.07 rating.  Fox was #3 with a 1.06 rating, while NBC was #4 with a 0.95 rating  No NFL in prime to boost anyone's averages! Among total viewers, CBS was #1 with 7.477 million, with ABC #2 at 4.949  million.  NBC was #3 with 4.174 million and Fox at #4 with 3.641 million.

For season to-date (9/19/16-2/2/17, LIVE+SD), NBC is 1 in A18-49 with a 2.15 rating, followed by Fox at #2 with a 1.65 rating, which is heavily inflated by a high 7-game World Series, and may take over for #1 after tonight with the Super Bowl. CBS is  #3 with a 1.57 rating and ABC at #4 with a 1.24 rating. Among total viewers it is CBS back to #1 at 8.492 million, followed by NBC at #2 with 8.007 million. World Series boosted Fox still at #3 with 5.444 million as ABC is #4 with 5.200 million. Will be interesting how close to #1 or #2 Fox gets in total viewers after tonight's Super Bowl.

Mr. Brown endorses a local politician, which causes major problems for him and the rest of the facility; Jeremy takes matters into his own hands to protect the facility against protestors.

Tyler Perry's Assisted Living - "Snowmaggedon" (BET, 8:30PM ET/PT)
A serious snowstorm throws the facility a curveball; tension rises as the facility awaits a miracle to save Leah and Reginald, who are trapped without electricity.
