Hallmark Schedules Mary Tyler Moore, Bob Newhart Marathons; Comedy Awards Lines Up Presenters

Mary Tyler Moore The Bob Newhart Show
They might have been removed from the regular schedule, but Hallmark Channel has still not given up on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and The Bob Newhart Show. The cable network has scheduled Memorial Day weekend marathons of both classic sitcoms! On Saturday, May 26, 2012 from 10am-10pm, enjoy twelve hours of The Mary Tyler Moore Show in marathon form on Hallmark Channel! The sitcom launched to a marathon on April 1, so this will actually be its second marathon. Unfortunately its regular airings didn't last long (it aired early mornings 4-6am), but fans can still watch the series in marathon spurts (and on MeTV and FamilyNet, if you get those networks). If I were to guess, we'll see more marathons like this for the sitcom in the coming months on Hallmark. The same goes true for The Bob Newhart Show, that sitcom also was removed from the regular schedule recently, but Hallmark will air a twelve hour The Bob Newhart Show marathon on Sunday, May 27, 2012 from 10am-10pm! 24 classic episodes!
No changes to report on the regular schedule, but we do have one other note! On Sunday, June 3, 2012, following the morning The Golden Girls airings, Hallmark will air a Touched by an Angel marathon through 10pm! The classic family drama has not aired in a while on the network, so it's good to see it airing. I believe it has been over a year since it last aired on the network, at least regularly. Stay with us for continued updates on all things Hallmark Channel including the on going saga of their schedule changes.
