Day 52: WGA's Strike, TV4U.com Adds More Classic TV

Yeah our writers' strike counter has returned after 5 days off. We are on day 52 of the strike and in the eighth week of the strike now. If you all recall, David Letterman's production company Worldwide Pants was set to meet with the WGA on Friday to negotiate an independent deal so that both his late night show on CBS and Craig Ferguson's late night CBS show could return with writers. No deal was made yet, but it seems both shows could be back on the air next Wednesday (Jan. 2) with or without writers. No new date has been set for the WGA and Worldwide Pants to resume talks. The WGA released this statement:
"Representatives from Worldwide Pants and the Writers Guild of America, West and the Writers Guild of America, East met today. A lively exchange of information took place. The WGAW and WGAE will not comment further."

TV4U.Com presents TV shows from the first 60 years of commercial television, from the Dumont Network of the 1940's to programming produced today. Shows are ad supported and can be watched free - and on demand - by viewers.
Other new shows recently added to TV4U.Com includes Joe Pyne, Who Do You Trust?, Meet Corliss Archer, Our Miss Brooks, Life of Riley, Lights Out!, Captain David Grrief, and The Morey Amsterdam Show. Many of these shows have not been seen on TV for decades.
In 2008, TV4U.Com plans to add an additional 3,000 shows, which would bring the fledgling broadband network to 5,000 offerings for TV viewers.

Matt and Eve go on their first date but have different ideas of what it should entail. Riley befriends the mom of Georgia’s new friend while Carter mediates a tiff between Gabe and Stitch. LA Dodger Mookie Betts and Lilly Singh guest star.

Shifting Gears - "Passion" (ABC, 10:00PM ET/PT) (Repeat)
When Carter’s job pays more than Riley’s, she decides to find her forever career and clashes with Matt over her future. Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias drops by Parker Customs, and Matt debates letting go of a piece of the past. Lori Greiner guest stars.

Shifting Gears - "Scary" (ABC, 10:30PM ET/PT) (Repeat)
Matt plans to spend Halloween with Eve, but the real terror begins when Eve wants to sleep over. With Carter and Georgia out for the night, Riley invites Gabe and Stitch to a Halloween party, hoping to relive the crazy, epic Halloweens of her past.
