Sitcom Schedule Changes on BET; Sitcom Stars on Talk Shows (Week of April 25, 2011)

We have more BET news for you--this time more specific scheduling news. This week BET aired every single episode of The Game so far from 8am-6pm (four seasons worth), now today they are airing a marathon of Everybody Hates Chris and a marathon of Girlfriends tomorrow. Then some regular schedule changes will begin next week, starting Monday, April 25. Basically, The Jamie Foxx Show and Girlfriends will switch times, as Foxx will now air from 11am-1pm and Girlfriends from 3pm-5pm (leading into spin-off The Game). The rest of the line-up will remain the same. Weekends will also have sitcoms still with more of a presence on Sundays now in the late mornings/early afternoons. Stunts wise, there will be a Bernie Mac Day on Saturday, May 2 with a marathon of his sitcom Bernie Mac from 9am-9pm leading into some of his movies like Soul Men and Mr. 3000.
Sister network Centric will have a few marathon stunts in the next few weeks as well. Next weekend will have Miami Vice on Saturday (April 30) from 12pm-8pm with an encore on Sunday (May 1) from 9am-3pm. The following weekend has comedy with Sister, Sister on Saturday, May 7 from 12pm-6pm and encoring on Mother's Day (Sunday, May 8) from 9am-3pm. These are two good showcases because Miami Vice only airs weekdays at 6am and Sister, Sister doesn't air regularly on Centric anymore. Stay tuned for any further updates, as always!
