TV Land Developing George Hamilton Series; Steve Harvey, A-Team Marathons on Centric

TV Land is developing a reality series starring George Hamilton. It is still in the development stage and still has a long way to go, if it is even picked-up. First, it has to be picked-up to pilot and then to series. The famously tanned actor is developing a docusoap for TV Land that could be described as a real-life Two and a Half Men, the Hollywood Reporter reports.
Bunim Murray will produce the show, which chronicles the lives of Hamilton and his 35 year-old son Ashley and younger son George Thomas, who is just 10. In the show's logline, Hamilton and Ashley are perpetual bachelors who have to grow up when 10-year-old George comes to L.A. to live with them.
Aside from numerous guest appearances, Hamilton's last regular series was the late 1990s NBC sitcom Jenny. He also had a recurring role on the 1980s classic ABC primetime soap Dynasty. He was also on season two of ABC's Dancing with the Stars and his son Ashley was also on the show last fall for season nine.
While we like George Hamilton, an original sitcom would have been better. TV Land is doing well with Hot in Cleveland and has another original sitcom coming in early 2011 called Retired at 35 starring George Segal. Anyway, stay with us if there is any developments with Hamilton;s docusoap.

Meanwhile, BET spin-off network Centric is having a marathon of sitcom The Steve Harvey Show today from 9am-3pm, so sorry for the late notice but we forgot to mention it on Friday. But we are telling you in plenty of time that Centric will have a weekend marathon of action series The A-Team this weekend (July 3-4). The marathon airs Saturday from 12pm-11pm and on Sunday from 9am-8pm for the 4th of July weekend. What better way to have fireworks than with B.A. Baracus!
The Steve Harvey Show airs regularly on Centric weekdays at 1pm & 1:30pm and The A-Team airs weekdays at 7am & 9pm.
