Yesterday was day two for cable for the TCA Summer 2013 press tour. The networks that presented were BBC America, TLC, Discovery, OWN and HBO. Among the key highlights were a new comedy for HBO. In his first lead role in a comedy series, Stephen Merchant (Golden Globe winner as writer-executive producer of The Office UK and HBO's Extras) stars as Stuart in Hello Ladies, which begins its eight-episode season on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 10:30pm ET/PT, exclusively on HBO, immediately following the season premiere of Eastbound & Down. The rest of the cast includes Christine Woods, Nate Torrence and Kevin Weisman, while guests include Crista Flanagan, Jenny Slate, Sean Wing and Sarah Wright. Meanwhile, Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) announced programming premieres including the OWN premiere of Tyler Perry's For Better or Worse season three starting Wednesday, Sept. 18 with back-to-back half-hour episodes at 9 and 9:30pm. OWN also announced that on Sunday, August 18 at 9, Oprah and actress Lindsay Lohan come together for an exclusive highly anticipated in-depth conversation in Oprah's Next Chapter.
