Mid-Season:

New series for midseason include The Deep End, Happy Town, and the limited series event V.
More new mid-season series will be announced at a later date.
Other returning series include Scrubs, Better Off Ted, Wife Swap, The Bachelor, True Beauty, & Lost.
Scrubs/Ted will air Tuesday nights at 9:00pm in January and The Bachelor from 8-10pm in January on Monday nights.

At 8am ET, ABC had a press conference with Steven McPherson (President of ABC Entertainment). Some of the things he mentioned were that they were frustrated with Samantha Who's ratings despite it being a great show (the budget couldn't be cut enough so the show won't return). Cupid and The Unusuals are dead, and Surviving Suburbia will run in the summer and depending on how it does, a decision will be made (they have an option for it through September). ABC is really high on new series Flash Forward, as it will have Lost-like elements of faith and good characters. Speaking of Lost, no day and time has been set for the final season yet. It depends on the fall shows. ABC is going after the Tuesday at 10pm slot with a crime drama since NBC won't have one there. Zach Braff will return to Scrubs for at least 6 episodes. And finally Shonda Rimes' Inside the Box wasn't picked-up to series yet. They will look into it for another few weeks, it didn't test as well as they would have liked but they think it was done very well and just need to improve it a bit and be patient with it. View a complete outline of the press conference.
Then the upfront presentation for ABC was at 3pm ET. Among the highlights were great clips from all the new shows, the first act of Flash Forward, the full pilot for Modern Family, the ABC House promos featuring all ABC stars in the same house, and the hilarious Jimmy Kimmel at upfront! View my full recap of the presentation!

And coming in the summer 2010, NBC will telecast all original episodes of The Jay Leno Show, Friday Night Lights, America's Got Talent, Breakthrough with Tony Robbins, Dateline NBC, with additional programs to be announced later. NBC has not picked-up Medium and My Name is Earl. Medium could very well be on its way to CBS now since they own the show. Earl is a long shot of returning on Fox (they own the show), but it won't likely happen.
