Summer Week 2 Sitcom Ratings

Dog days of summer have just begun. Week 2 Summer Ratings: Sitcom Edition:

Monday Sitcoms
  • The King of Queens (CBS) - 6.052 million this week...down from last week's 6.52 million.
  • How I Met Your Mother (CBS) - Slightly better than last week's 4.9 million with 5.34 million.
  • Two and a Half Men (CBS) - Big drop from last week's impressive repeat airing of 10.61 million to just 7.97 million...guess people were watching the Deal or No Deal finale.
  • George Lopez (ABC) - Special repeat airing at 9 p.m. as a lead-in to the ALMA Awards didn't do too well...3.48 million.
  • New Adventures of Old Christine (CBS) - 8.23 million this week, down from last week's 9.09 million, but built on from lead-in.
  • One on One (UPN), All of Us (UPN), Girlfriends, Half & Half (UPN) - Repeats of these sitcoms did all under 2 million again, but steady.


Tuesday Sitcoms

  • According to Jim (ABC) 2 episodes - 8 pm did better this week with 4.96 mil, up from last week's 4.93 million, but 9pm did worse from last week's 5.2 million to this week's 4.24 million.
  • Rodney (ABC) - All-new burn off episode dropped from lead-in and did 4.22 million, down from last week's burn-off episode of 4.89 million.
  • Less than Perfect (ABC) - All-new burn off episode did 3.97 million, down from last week's 4.67 million, not good...


Wednesday Sitcoms
  • George Lopez (ABC) - 4.84 million is better than last week's 3.93 million.
  • Freddie (ABC) - Repeat at 4.14 million did better than last week's 3.74 million.

Thursday Sitcoms

  • My Name is Earl (NBC) 4 episodes - Did decent for the summer, 4 episodes did better than The Office last week: 5.85, 6.69, 6.42, and 6.14 million. (Office did: 4.61, 4.75, 4.82, and 4.65 million).
  • Everybody Hates Chris, Love Inc, Eve, Cuts (UPN) - Chris only did well and that is why it will be the only one returning next fall.
Friday Sitcoms
  • What I Like About You, Twins, Reba, Living with Fran (The WB) - All dead last place. Reba was the highest rated one obviously. The rest are canceled shows.
  • Hope & Faith (ABC) - Two episodes averaged only 2.5/5 rating, down from last week's 2.8 rating.

  • Jim Parsons (Young Sheldon/The Big Bang Theory) - Jim is a guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert at 11:35pm on CBS.
  • Natasha Rothwell (How to Die Alone/Insecure) - Natasha appears on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert at 11:35pm on CBS. Natasha and Conrad Ricamora talk about How to Die Alone on ABC's GMA 3: What You Need to Know at 1pm.
  • Skylar Astin (Ground Floor) and Mary Holland (The Big Door Prize/Robbie/Blunt Talk) - Skylar and Mary are guests on After Midnight at 12:37am on CBS.
  • Drew Barrymore (Santa Clarita Diet) - Drew will be on CBS Mornings some time between 7-9am.
  • Chloe Bailey (grown-ish) - Chloe joins the Tam Fam for an epic hour on Tamron Hall, so check your local listings.
  • Dax Shepard (Bless This Mess) - Dax and Drew chat about turning fifty, the weirdest rumor they've ever heard about themselves and more on The Drew Barrymore Show, so check your local listings.
  • Eugene Levy (Schitt's Creek/Greg the Bunny/Hiller and Diller) and Dan Levy (Schitt's Creek) - ABC News correspondent Chris Connelly talks with Eugene and Dan Levy about hosting the 76th Emmy® Awards on ABC's Good Morning America some time between 7-9am.
  • Connie Britton (SMILF/Lost at Home/The Fighting Fitzgeralds/Spin City) - Connie talks about her film Here After on Access Daily with Mario & Kit, so check your local listings.
