Wings Seasons1 & 2 DVD Confirmed for May; 'Full House' Cast on 'Larry King Live'; 'Joey' Dead

Yesterday TVShowsonDVD.com officially announced that Wings is coming to DVD this May. Seasons 1 and 2 will be out on May 23. Many fans right here at SitcomsOnline.com were very happy and have been waiting for this day to happen. I had hinted two weeks ago on this blog that we would get Wings in May, and seasons 3 and 4 sets later in the year, and now TVShowsonDVD.com confirms all that.
We were the first to mention the set was in the works. At that time the set was in the works for Feb. 7, but now it is May 23. Special thanks to TVShowsonDVD.com for giving everyone the official information and cover art. Hopefully there will be bonus material on this set, too.
I have heard reports that Frasier and Cheers Season 8 sets are also coming that same day. Hopefully we get official word soon from TVShowsonDVD.com.

And Larry King Live goes all sitcom again tonight. Last night the cast of Growing Pains were on and it was very interesting. Tonight the cast of Full House will be on. Full House's Stephanie, Jodie Sweetin will talk about her previous crystal meth addiction. Plus, former co-stars Bob Saget, John Stamos and Dave Coulier will also be on. Tune in tonight at 9 p.m. on CNN (and encores at 12 midnight and 3 a.m.).

Finally, TV Guide is reporting that NBC sitcom Joey will likely not return during this season. If the episodes ever air, they will be burned off this summer. So it doesn't seem Joey will be back at all next fall, if that wasn't obvious to you all already. And if that wasn't enough, Andrea Anders of Joey, has joined the high profile sitcom pilot for CBS called The Class. The show, about a reunion of former third-grade classmates engineered by one of them, has already earned a 13-episode order from CBS for the fall and stars Jason Ritter (Joan of Arcadia). This even more confirms that NBC will try to do Friends specials for every sweep period next season.

DMV - "Drive-ory Tower" (CBS, 8:30PM ET/PT)
Colette tries to bridge a growing divide at the office by bringing the driving examiners and counter clerks together. Meanwhile, Vic stubbornly avoids seeing a doctor after an unusual injury, forcing Barb to get creative to help him.
