Nick@Nite To Premiere 90-Second Sitcom; MPI Home Video Answers
Finally, a sitcom that really knows how to sit? and stay and fetch! Maggie Poocharelli is the center of the family and the chaos of this classic sitcom, with loveable if sometimes dim husband Pete, forever-dating sister Evelyne, irascible Gramps and the kids: spunky twelve year old Cody, teen
socialiate Brittany, and the puppies. In each episode, they face traditional sitcom issues -from lost homework to mis-fired makeovers to special celebrity guest stars. Tune in each Tuesday at 9:57 p.m. for all the fun with the Poocharelli family!
MPI Home Video has let us know when we can expect the '60s sitcom Family Affair on DVD. They said to expect the first season (30 episodes on 4 discs) on June 27. MPI is known for great bonus features and this set will also have some. The exact contents will be announced later. Also, there is no further information on The Color Honeymooners DVD. I think we can expect that later in the year, as I mentioned sometime back. And we all know season three of The Doris Day Show is coming this May, but we can also expect season four of this series sometime in the 4th quarter (Oct-Dec) this year. I'm sure our friends at TVShowsonDVD.com will have news on all this, when announced. It is too bad MPI doesn't have rights to release more episodes of The Beverly Hillbillies and Petticoat Junction! They have done a great job on those and all the other series they have released!
