Boomerang, the network that airs classic animated series (and the sister network of Cartoon Network), will have a 15-hour stunt this April Fool's Day trying to determine who can beat Mr. T! The stunt titled "Taking on Mr. T" pairs the animated Mr. T vs. other classic cartoons. Here it is in their own words:
Boomerang is proud to present the most anticipated showdown in television history with the staging of the blockbuster, battle event "Taking on Mr. T." From sunrise to sunset, there will be a no-holds-barred, “winner takes all” contest as the animated Mr. T (famous tough guy from The A-Team of the 1980s) is pitted against a line-up of famous cartoon all-stars on Saturday, April 1, 6 a.m.-9 p.m. (ET). Each hour Mr. T will take on a new opponent. Running commentary and on-air updates will appear between episodes to allow fans to keep tally of the matches. "Taking on Mr. T" is an event with amazingly high stakes: the loser will be banished from the network forever! As an added bonus, 24-hour commercial-free Boomerang will also premiere four half-hour episodes of Mr. T (1983-86) that have never before played on Boomerang - "Mystery of the Mind-Thieves," "The Hundred Year Old Mystery," "Mystery on the Rocky Mountain Express" and "The Ninja Mystery" - perhaps the last time audiences will be able to see Mr. T in an uninterrupted format.
"Taking on Mr. T" will launch at 6 a.m. with 30 minutes of the spinach-fueled Popeye, followed by a favorite Mr. T episode. At 7 a.m., super-sleuth Scooby-Doo tag-teams for a half hour, again followed by a Mr. T mystery. Heavy-weight Magilla Gorilla next appears at 8 a.m., only to be answered by yet another Mr. T showing. The pattern continues for another 12 hours and will feature appearances by Papa Smurf, Yogi Bear, Pink Panther, Bugs Bunny, Duck Dodgers, Dee Dee, The Shmoo, Hong Kong Phooey, Dick Dastardly, Secret Squirrel, Dexter and Tom and Jerry. So who will be banished from the network? Will it be Scooby-Doo? Popeye? The Smurfs? Or even Mr. T himself? Find out tomorrow!

Mr. T is not done making a fool out of you! Sleuth TV will run an April Fool's Day marathon titled, "I Pity the April Fool" from 1 pm. to 9 p.m. ET. Following is the line-up that includes Mr. T in The A-Team:
1:00 PM/5:00 PM I PITY THE APRIL FOOL: The A-Team: CURTAIN CALL
2:00 PM/6:00 PM I PITY THE APRIL FOOL: Knight Rider: CIRCUS KNIGHTS
3:00 PM/7:00 PM I PITY THE APRIL FOOL: Karen Sisco: DUMB BUNNIES
4:00 PM/8:00 PM I PITY THE APRIL FOOL: Miami Vice: BETTER LIVING THROUGH CHEMISTRY

And then after all the fooling you did and watched, don't forget to put your clocks one hour ahead before you go to bed, as Daylight Savings Time returns--no fooling!
