  • Saturday Night Live has been without an African American female cast member for several years now, an issue which recently gained attention when Kerry Washington hosted an episode... but it seems that there are now plans to not only change this, but in fact add a new cast member by January. (Hollywood Reporter)
  • The end of a few channels that used to be more dominant on cable lineups is rapidly approaching, as G4 and SoapNet prepare to leave the air for good in about two weeks. (TV Guide)
  • Binge-watching of TV series is pretty big on Netflix, according to a Harris Interactive poll. (Deadline)
