Our 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards Picks

We will preempt the summer ratings to give our picks for the Emmy Awards tonight. The 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards are TONIGHT so we will give our annual picks on who we think might win. Stay tuned for the winners list, but for now here are our picks:

OUTSTANDING COMEDY SERIES
Curb Your Enthusiasm (HBO)
The Office (NBC)
Modern Family (ABC)
30 Rock (NBC)
Nurse Jackie (Showtime)
Glee (Fox)
OUR PICK: Modern Family. It is clearly the best comedy and should win. Glee is not a half-hour comedy.

OUTSTANDING LEAD COMEDY ACTOR
Alec Baldwin, 30 Rock (NBC)
Tony Shalhoub, Monk (USA Network)
Matthew Morrison, Glee (Fox)
Steve Carell, The Office (NBC)
Larry David, Curb Your Enthusiasm (HBO)
Jim Parsons, The Big Bang Theory (CBS)
OUR PICK: Tony Shalhoub, Monk. Knowing the Emmys, they will give Shalhoub one last win. I would want Parsons to win.

OUTSTANDING LEAD COMEDY ACTRESS
Edie Falco, Nurse Jackie (Showtime)
Lea Michelle, Glee (Fox)
Amy Poehler, Parks and Recreation (NBC)
Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Old Christine (CBS)
Tina Fey, 30 Rock (NBC)
Toni Collette, United States of Tara (Showtime)
OUR PICK: Toni Collette, United States of Tara. The Emmys love cable, so I am giving Collette another win.

OUTSTANDING SUPPORTING COMEDY ACTOR
Eric Stonestreet, Modern Family (ABC)
Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Modern Family (ABC)
Jon Cryer, Two and a Half Men (CBS)
Neil Patrick Harris, How I Met Your Mother (CBS)
Chris Colfer, Glee (Fox)
Ty Burrell, Modern Family (ABC)
OUR PICK: Ty Burrell, Modern Family. Someone from Modern Family will win and I feel it will be Ty.

OUTSTANDING SUPPORTING COMEDY ACTRESS
Holland Taylor, Two and a Half Men (CBS)
Julie Bowen, Modern Family (ABC)
Jane Krakowski, 30 Rock (NBC)
Sofia Vergara, Modern Family (ABC)
Kristin Wiig, SNL (NBC)
Jane Lynch, Glee (Fox)
OUR PICK: Jane Lynch, Glee. I would love it if Bowen or Vergara wins, but I doubt it.

OUTSTANDING DRAMA SERIES
Lost (ABC)
The Good Wife (CBS)
True Blood (HBO)
Mad Men (AMC)
Dexter (Showtime)
Breaking Bad (AMC)
OUR PICK: LOST. It better win!

OUTSTANDING LEAD DRAMA ACTOR
Hugh Laurie, House (Fox)
Kyle Chandler, Friday Night Lights (NBC)
Bryan Cranston, Breaking Bad (AMC)
Matthew Fox, Lost (ABC)
Michael C. Hall, Dexter (Showtime)
Jon Hamm, Mad Men (AMC)
OUR PICK: Bryan Cranston, Breaking Bad. Matthew Fox would be great, but again cable usually rules.

OUTSTANDING LEAD DRAMA ACTRESS
Glenn Close, Damages (FX)
Connie Britton, Friday Night Lights (NBC)
Kyra Sedgwick, The Closer (TNT)
January Jones, Mad Men (AMC)
Mariska Hargitay, Law & Order: SVU (NBC)
Julianna Margulies, The Good Wife (CBS)
OUR PICK: Julianna Margulies, The Good Wife. I don't think there is a doubt here.

OUTSTANDING SUPPORTING DRAMA ACTOR
Martin Short, Damages (FX)
Aaron Paul, Breaking Bad (AMC)
Andre Braugher, Men of a Certain Age (TNT)
John Slattery, Mad Men (AMC)
Terry O'Quinn, Lost (ABC)
Michael Emerson, Lost (ABC)
OUR PICK: Terry O'Quinn, LOST. O'Quinn rocked as the man in black this season and he will win it.

OUTSTANDING SUPPORTING DRAMA ACTRESS
Sharon Gless, Burn Notice (USA Network)
Ross Byrne, Damages (FX)
Archie Panjabi, The Good Wife (CBS)
Christine Hendricks, Mad Men (AMC)
Christine Baranski, The Good Wife (CBS)
Elisabeth Moss, Mad Men (AMC)
OUR PICK: Elisabeth Moss, Mad Men. This is tough. It is anyone's win here.
