TV Land Moves PRIME Movie to Mondays, Other Changes; Jimmy Fallon to Host Emmy Awards

TV Land is altering the May 2010 schedule just a bit. The changes won't start for another 13 days or so on Monday, May 17, but we here at SitcomsOnline like to give you notice well in advance! On Mondays during the daytime marathon (9am-1pm) will be now movies instead of Good Times. Don't fret yet Good Times fans, because the daytime marathon will move to Tuesdays from 9am-1pm instead, replacing 3rd Rock from the Sun, which is now gone again. The big schedule change is that the TV Land PRIME movie is now leaving Friday nights for the first time and will move to Mondays at 10p starting May 17. The first PRIME movie on Monday will be the premiere of Mystic Pizza. With the movie moving to Mondays, this means the regular schedule will now be on Fridays from 10pm-12am, with an hour each of Raymond and Roseanne.
And as we mentioned already in the May 2010 highlights, don't forget flowers, cards, hugs...and Marie this Mother's Day?! TV Land celebrates Mother's Day on Saturday, May 8th from 8:00PM to 12:00AM ET/PT with a marathon of Everybody Loves Raymond featuring hand-picked episodes saluting Marie Barone -- TV's beloved mother and mother-in-law. Tune in as the lovable yet overbearing Marie takes over the bridal shower that Debra throws for best friend and future sister-in-law Amy, gives Debra the silent treatment and discovers that the family threw out her special chicken cacciatore and ordered out Chinese food instead in this marathon that will make viewers glad they won't have to answer to Mrs. Marie Barone this Mother's Day! Everybody Loves Raymond can be seen weeknights starting at 9:00PM ET/PT on TV Land.
View the updated TV Land May 2010 schedule. Stay with us for the June schedule, as we promised the fate of The Brady Bunch (contract expires at the end of May).

Comedian, writer and talk show host Jimmy Fallon (NBC's Late Night with Jimmy Fallon) has been named host of The 62nd Primetime Emmy® Awards, airing live coast-to-coast on NBC, Sunday, August 29 (5-8 p.m. PT, 8-11 p.m. ET).
