Watch 'Knights', 'Emergency' Encores Tonight; TCA Winter Cable Press Tour Preview

This is yet another reminder if you have not seen the pilots for the new ABC comedies The Knights of Prosperity and In Case of Emergency, that they are re-airing tonight (TGIF) at 9/8 central. And if you have watched them, watch them again because they certainly are hilarious, especially the Knights. Why am I keep mentioning this? Because sitcoms these days are not well watched and the quality of these (in particular the Knights) is of high class and I don't want it to see get wasted and die. I've seen subsequent episodes and they get even better! So, tune in tonight and watch the new episodes EVERY Wednesday at 9/8 central. You can make a difference and laugh & have fun for an hour at the same time. Let's see a little spike in the ratings this Wednesday! And now a cool ad for In Case of Emergency...

Next week is a big week in the world of cable--the TCA Winter Cable Press Tour. Yes, it is that semi-annual time of the year again and we hope to learn some cool programming news! We will like usual cover it in detail. The fun starts on Monday with an evening reception, then the meetings and sessions starts Tuesday and end Friday. And here is the schedule of networks going on what day:
Tuesday: Turner Broadcasting (CNN, TNT, TBS), Weather Channel, Great American Country, A&E/History Channel, Hallmark Channel, FX.
Wednesday: Discovery Networks (Discovery, TLC, Animal Planet, Travel), Oxygen, TV One, National Geographic Channel, BBC America, Disney Channel/ABC Family.
Thursday: E! Networks (E!, style, G4), ESPN, Lifetime, Starz!, MTV Networks (MTV, Comedy Central, VH1, Spike, Nickelodeon/Nick@Nite, TV Land).
Friday: TV Guide Channel, NBC Universal Cable Networks (Bravo, Sci-Fi, USA Network)), Sundance Channel, GSN, Rainbow Networks (AMC, WE-TV, Fuse), HBO.
We will give you details of anything we can next week, but we will try to stay on topic and cover only the TV/sitcom related updates, rather than something from like Animal Planet or something. So, next week this is the place to be for any updates from the press tour!

This blog entry is brought to you by ABC's The Knights of Prosperity. Watch it Wednesdays at 9/8 Central and watch the pilot anytime online:

Sitcoms Airing Tonight

Tuesday, July 7

Fresh Off the Boat - "Success Perm" (ABC, 8:00PM ET/PT) (Repeat)
Family rivalry spirals out of control when Jessica’s sister, Connie, and her far more affluent husband come to visit. The Huangs try to convince everyone they’re doing great financially, when nothing could be further from the truth. Meanwhile, Eddie is excited to be reunited with his cousin Justin, who introduced him to hip hop, until he learns the kid has moved on to grunge.

black-ish - "Parental Guidance" (ABC, 8:30PM ET/PT) (Repeat)
Dre, determined to make up for the no-frills, last-minute wedding he and Bow had, organizes an amazing vow renewal for their 15th anniversary. But when Bow’s hippie-dippy parents, Alicia (Anna Deveare Smith) and the very white Paul (Beau Bridges) show up unannounced — bombshells are dropped and old disagreements re-ignite between the two families, especially with Pops and Ruby (Jenifer Lewis).

Clipped - "Wi-Fi" (TBS, 10:00PM ET/PT)
The girls are upset that Ben won't pay for the barbershop to have WiFi, so they go to great lengths to get the WiFi password from the tattoo parlor next door. Mo spills the beans to the gang that Ben is being peed on in the shower at the gym by somebody he considers a friend, and A.J. decides to do something about it.
